Meet The Designer

Hi!! My name is Michelle,
I am a wife, mom to two boys (15 & 12), fur mom to a boxer/husky mix and a Lynx Point Siamese cat.I have been creating since I was in high school when I discovered ceramics and haven’t stopped finding ways to create. I like to crochet, cross-stitch, macramé, craft with my boys, build websites, design the graphics for those websites, design graphics for stickers, planner stickers, design journal covers, cook, bake, and I know I’m forgetting something. I also like to help others find their creative spark by answering questions that come my way.I have my degree in graphic design and have thankfully been able to use it, when I worked in the grocery industry, and for my companies. I used to have a photography company and another soap company (Sunrise Soapworks) but decided to expand it to 8.25 Designs to focus on my Vegan Bar Soap & Resin Home Décor (mainly soap dishes to go with my soap). Phase 3 is now officially in full swing. I have opened up a stationary shop. 8.25 Stationary is the last dream company Ive always wanted to have and it's now live. I have an etsy shop and just started publishing my planners, journals and composition book on Amazon.Speaking of Amazon, I will start selling my soaps and notebooks. I was recently approved for an Amazon Handmade account and look forward to having my soap accessible to more people. Resin soap dishes, planner stickers, and digital downloads will be avaiable in my etsy shops (825Designs & 825Stationary)8.25 Designs has always been a 3 Phase idea since I started making soap 5 years ago. My goal is to work towards being my own boss full time at 8.25 Designs (I do work a full-time 9-5 job) and it’s just a matter of time before that dream comes true!!
